With a strong academic foundation and a passion for fostering inclusive learning environments, I offer extensive expertise in communication, rhetoric, and media studies.
My training and experience was attained through my studies while I worked on my M.A. in Communication from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley where I earned a certificate in Training and Development. Currently, as a third-year Ph.D. candidate in Communication at the University of Memphis, I specializes in Rhetoric and Media Studies, with research focused on identifying Latiné leaders engaged in grassroots efforts and their contributions to social, cultural, and political initiatives.
As an educator and trainer, I’m dedicated to creating equitable learning environments where students and trainees feel heard, valued, and appreciated. My approach to the classroom emphasizes amplifying diverse perspectives and fostering spaces where every voice is celebrated.
With over four years of experience as a consultant in writing and communication centers and as a graduate instructor for COMM 2381: Oral Communication, her teaching philosophy I’m deeply rooted in coalition pedagogy, emphasizing collaboration, empowerment, and inclusive dialogue.
